Dr. Ashbaugh has been our Rhodesian Ridgeback’s veterinarian since we first welcomed her into our family 12 years ago. Dr. Ashbaugh has always taken the time to thoughtfully listen to us first – followed by a thorough evaluation. He sincerely cares for our pup and gives us honest feedback and recommendations – treating her as if she was a member of his own family. We have 100% confidence in Dr. Ashbaugh; his professionalism, knowledge and recommendations are second to none. Dr. Ashbaugh has been taking care of my dogs since 2009.  I couldn't ask for a more knowledgeable, conscientious, honest and kind veterinarian.  He cares deeply for the welfare of his patients not padding his bills with costly unneeded tests and treatments.

Dr Ashbaugh is an absolute legend. You could not be placing your animals into better hands than his. He is kind, gentle and a great listener. Our Chesapeake Bay Retriever was having a very hard time standing from a lying down position. She was in a lot of pain. After unnecessary treatments with no resolution, I called Dr Ashbaugh. With his vast knowledge and extensive experience he had our Stella diagnosed and on the right treatment with no side effects. This man cares about you and he cares about your pet. I would never take my dog anywhere else.

Dr. Ashbaugh was referred to me by a friend of mine during a time of distress and uncertainty. My dog Nala had an injury and she needed knee surgery. The compassion and expertise displayed by Dr. Ashbaugh was invaluable. His unwavering dedication, treatment options, and genuine concern for my dog's well-being made all the difference when she faced a range of other health issues. I wish I had a doctor like him, to myself, no kidding! And I know that if my dog could talk she would say the same! Dr. John Ashbaugh has cared for our pets for over a decade. Dr. Ashbaugh is experienced, compassionate, pragmatic, and current in his approach to caring for our pets. As well, John has great communication skills in translating the medical issues and related needs of our pets, which gives us the confidence and comfort our pets are getting the correct and necessary medical care.
